Woven Reading ("we," "us") is a small, family-run children's book business based in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. This policy explains what information we collect through wovenreading.com, why we collect it, and how we protect it. The short version: we collect only what we need to fill your order or answer your message, and we never sell your information.

Information We Collect

• Orders: when you buy a book, our payment processor Stripe collects your name, email address, shipping address, and payment details. Your card number goes directly to Stripe — it never touches our website or our servers. We see only your name, contact info, shipping address, and what you ordered, so we can pack and ship your books. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Contact form & email: if you write to us, we receive your name, email address, and message so we can reply. Nothing more.
• Newsletter: our newsletter is hosted on Substack. If you subscribe, your email is handled by Substack under Substack's privacy policy.
• Site analytics: our site is hosted on Cloudflare. We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics (page views, country, browser) that do not use advertising cookies or track you across other websites.

How We Use Your Information

• To process, ship, and (for local orders) deliver your book order.
• To respond to your questions and messages.
• To meet legal obligations, such as collecting and remitting Colorado sales tax.

That's it. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing, and we don't send you marketing email unless you've subscribed to the newsletter.

Children's Privacy

Our books are for children, but our website is intended for parents, caregivers, and educators. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.

Your Choices

You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you (order records we're legally required to keep for tax purposes may be retained). Just email wovenreading@gmail.com.
